  • Which Office packages do your products work on?
    • Our add-ins work on Office 2013 and later versions, Office Online and Office 365. This is because the HTML, Javascript add-in platforms to develop add-ins can only work from Office 2013 and later versions, including Office Online. Our specific products work on the following applications:
      • modernCharts - Excel (for now, we working on PowerPoint version)
      • Activity Timer - Excel
      • Calculator - Excel
  • What do I need to have for me to use on of your add-ins?
    • To start using our add-ins you need:
      • An Office 365 account (email address);
      • Installed Microsoft Office on your computer;
      • Internet access
  • How secure is my information on your add-ins?
    • Our add-ins do not transmit information to outside your Office platform, we just manipulate the data and keep it on the add-in temporary memory. Please read our Privacy Policy for more information¬†
  • How to I get my company to buy me the add-in?
    • You can request your company to buy you the add-in using their Office 365 account and make it available to you for use. Please see instructions here.
  • What does it cost me to use your add-ins?
    • Our add-ins have adopted the software-as-a-service (SaaS) format. All you will pay (e.g. modernCharts $1.49/month) is the monthly fee. There is not other costs involved. None of our add-ins have in-purchase platform attached. The Activity Timer and Calculator are absolutely FREE!
  • What if the add-in does not show on my "My Add-In/My Apps" dialogue?
    • If your company has purchased or installed for you, please make sure the administrator has added the add-in to your user account.
    • If you purchased yourself, please make sure you are not using your company's office account. A lot of companies do not allow self purchased add-ins to operate under their Office account without the administrator clearing the security for it. Or else, please request your Office 365 admin or IT department to assist.
  • What if the add-in does not start when I launch?
    • The add-in may not start for different reasons such as:
      • No Internet connection: Please make sure you have internet connection;
      • For any other challenges please contact our support team.
  • How do I get updates on the add-ins?
    • All add-in update are automatically loaded. If there is an update, the add-in will have a notification saying so. Please make sure you keep your add-in update to get the best our any new features available.
  • How do I cancel my subscription?
    • You can cancel your add-in subscription by following these instructions, under how to cancel my add-in
